Dara Botts,
RNC, FNP, ADM-BC
Having over 25 years experience in nursing, Dara Botts has practiced in the Hermitage and Mt. Juliet areas for over 20 years. Dual board certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner and Advanced Diabetes Management, she is a graduate of the University of Tennessee with a Master's in Education and Belmont University with a Master's in Nursing.
Dara currently serves as adjunct faculty for the Vanderbilt School of Nursing as instructor and preceptor to the Nurse Practitioner students on the management of diabetes.
Botts is very active in the diabetes community and is a regional speaker for numerous pharmaceutical companies sharing her expertise on the appropriate use and safety of medications used for the management of Diabetes.
Dara is married to Steve Botts, and they have two grown children and eight grandchildren.
Lisa Mummert, LPN
Lisa moved to Nashville in 1980 to pursue a career in music. after being a successful back up singer, she and her husband Bob decided to start a family. They have 2 children.
Lisa went back to school and received her LPN license over 20 years ago. She has worked as a nurse in internal medicine for over 10 years, the past 12
years she and Dara Botts have worked together as a team, focusing on Diabetes and Endocrinology.
When she is not nursing, Lisa enjoys spending time with her family, especially her grandson, who knows her as "Lolly".
